The integration of special effects can make the difference between a ho-hum event and a “wow!” event that people will always remember. We’ve found that some event planners really try to nickle and dime and do an event as cheaply as possible, but what is an event if it’s not really AN EVENT. You get what you pay for and having great effects can mean an event that no one will forget – for good reasons –  and one that an event planner will more than likely get more work from as a result. So, happy event planner, happy client.

Effects can be used to enhance an event, to open one, to close one, to celebrate something, or to just say thank you. From pyrotechnics to mist, bubbles to confetti, models made up in fantasy make-up to hallowe’en-style gore, the options are endless – and truly are only limited by your imagination (or ours, which is pretty imaginative). Given our experience and knowledge of the many effects available we can provide different ideas and solutions and the equipment to rent (or buy), the products, and the crew to provide the effects on site.

We’ve provided a variety of effects for special events including the following:

Low-lying fog effects (provided for a private party at a club)
Pyrotechnics (provided for a birthday party and grad parties)
Ornate faux arches, Olympic-style over-sized torches, large pots with simulated pyro coming out (for various events)
Confetti/streamers and cannons (for communities celebrating the Vancouver 2010 torch relay)
A model done up in fantasy/snow queen make-up (fire and ice-themed event)
